Legal Set can get back to winning ways in this tricky apprentice event. Granted, most of his wins have come on the all-weather and he is at the top end ratings-wise of what he has achieved. However, he ran very well when racing virtually on his own here last time and he may prove hard to catch this time. Travelling Times was a fair fourth here last time off today's mark of 56 when a visor was refitted, and did win from a rating of 78 last July, so has to come into the reckoning. Bodfari Pride is not the force he was but has been knocking at the door lately. Once again, it might not open for him. Tap comes here on a three-timer, but those wins have been gained at seven furlongs and on the all-weather or easier going. Rosselli and Mallia are closely weighted with Travelling Times on their c/d runs last time, but Getatem and Redoubtable look held on that race's form. Overall, IT Consultant has been disappointing but his last two runs, over five at this track, suggested that the step up to this trip might suit. Xanadu is well weighted at best but has become disappointing. It's a tight affair but we'll go for Legal Set.
