Icon Project heads our short-list from Saleima, Pure Song and Single Vote. The selection is likely to be a warm order following a highly encouraging debut performance at Sandown behind leading Oaks fancy Dar Re Mi. The winner may have come up short in the Musidora but that was still a decent effort and the selection can do her bit for that form by winning today. Saleima made the frame on her first two starts before being stepped up to Listed company where she finished down the field but not beaten too far. Her dam won at around this trip and she retains an entry in the Irish Oaks. Pure Song finished just behind Gravitation in a Newbury maiden last month and both should have derived considerable benefit from the outing and the form looks decent. John Dunlop's filly is bred in the purple and can get into the shake-up this afternoon. Single Vote is one of the more interesting newcomers and is one to note in the market but experience can be crucial and Icon Project will be fancied to land the spoils.
