Bahamian Babe is taken to win the opener at the expense of Doughnut and Maggie Lou. The selection has confirmed her favouritism on both her starts to date winning on her debut on the all weather at Southwell and then showed improvement when getting her head in front at Thirsk thereafter. She has been a little green on both runs hanging to the left in the closing stages in her latest race but if able to improve once more she is more than capable of getting her head in front once again. Doughnut won on her debut at Folkestone last month and was slightly disappointing when third of four when sent off favourite at Goodwood last time out. That said it is not uncommon for two year olds to run below par on their second runs and a better effort can be expected this time around. Maggie Lou showed a real good turn of foot when scoring on her debut at Haydock. She led at halfway and really did seem to know her job well so if showing further improvement she has to be a real danger to the selection. But for the winner we return to Bahamian Babe.
