A chance is given to Favour in a competitive finale while others to consider include Uraib, Penelewey and Persario. Lynda Ramsden's charge has been threatening to win a race of this nature having twice been narrowly denied in similar events at Leicester and Newcastle of late. Both races were over six furlongs and his style of racing strongly suggests there should be more to come from this lightly raced type over this extra furlong. Uraib has also been knocking on the door and put up an excellent effort when runner-up in another tough handicap over course and distance last month. Ben Hanbury's charge should be on the premises once again despite a big weight while Penelewey is just 3lb higher compared to his Salisbury success in August and has claims if fit having been absent since. Persario shaped well at Epsom last time and remains open to further improvement while last year's winner Topton has the services of Kieren Fallon and can't be dismissed. But hat-trick seeking Out On A Stroll has taken a sharp rise in the weights and may now be in the handicapper's grip.
