Amanda Perrett's stable continues in excellent order and the Pulborough trainer can strike with Cohn Blue while Carte Sauvage, Akritas and Carriacou rate the main dangers. The Bluebird colt fulfilled the promise of his debut when landing a Chepstow maiden and followed up in minor company over this trip at Leicester last month. He looks open to plenty of further improvement and, having proved his stamina, looks the one to beat. Carte Sauvage has a progressive profile and shaped as though he would appreciate this trip when a close second in Listed company at Pontefract last time. Mark Johnston's colt has to be respected while Carriacou is still a maiden but is another who could improve for the step up in trip. Newmarket maiden winner Akritas showed wayward tendencies at Longchamp last time but takes a significant drop in grade and can't be ruled out but Cohn Blue should take the beating.
