Red Evie lines up in form and is taken to complete a hat-trick at the expense of Lavenham and Spirit Of Arosa, with the likes of Famcred, Silver Dip and Pearly Poll expected to come on for the run. In what could turn out to be an informative contest with an eye to the future, the race-fit Red Evie should prove a tough nut to crack after back-to-back successes at Yarmouth this season. The daughter of Intikhab pulled clear when asked the question last time at the seaside track, and despite Kieren Fallon now switching to Spirit Of Arosa, she should be able to withstand her rise with in-form Jamie Spencer taking over. Spirit Of Arosa just managed to get there in time when scoring over six furlongs at Folkestone last time, but now tackles a more suitable trip and in addition will appreciate the cut in the ground more so than at the Kent track where conditions looked far too fast for her. She looks a major player along with Lavenham, an easy Lingfield maiden winner who could make her marks in handicaps this summer. The likes of Famcred, Silver Dip and Pearly Poll all showed useful juvenile form but are perhaps best watched unless the market speaks kindly, and in any case it is Red Evie that sets the standard.
