Lindbergh Law showed improved form in a novice hurdle at Sedgefield last time and, having won his bumper on a softish surface, may not mind any further rain but Heather Dalton's gelding does not look to be particularly well treated for his debut in this grade so preference is for Cava Bien, who gets the vote ahead of Ten Pressed Men. The selection has run consistently well off similar marks, including on this sort of ground in recent starts and has solid claims. Easby Mandarin looks to be going the right way and has to be of interest, while William Butler remains unexposed but may want further to be seen at his best. Ten Pressed Men is lightly raced and may be open to improvement but faces no easy task giving weight away all round and preference is for the consistent Cava Bien, who is taken to gain an overdue success.
