It is never easy for runners in bumpers under penalties but there is no doubting that the flat-bred Programme Girl looked impressive when making a winning debut at Ayr in November and she is taken to follow up at the main expense of Reel Charmer and Little Sioux. The last mentioned was pulled up on her debut at Hexham in November but the chances are that Len Lungo's mare is better than that effort would suggest. Gunnasayso showed promise in what was probably a better race than this at Haydock on her debut last month and has to be respected, while Eccleswall Lady ran better than her odds suggested that she would on her Towcester debut and could be of interest. Paul Webber is always a trainer to be reckoned with in this grade but his runner Echo Sound is bred for speed and a faster surface so a bigger threat may come from Reel Charmer, who has run well in both starts so far. Programme Girl looked decent when winning at Ayr though and is taken to defy her penalty.
