      Verdict

Eliza May, Fly Time and Autour Du Monde are the three for the shortlist in an opener where there is virtually no form to go on, and punters will have to rely on breeding, trainer form and whispers to make their selection, and it will be worth keeping an eye on the market for any moves. Pat Haslam introduces a daughter of Spinning World, out of a Bering mare, named Autour Du Monde, and this cleverly named juvenile can be expected to give a good account as the shrewd Middleham handler does not over face his charges. Haslam's runners have been knocking at the door without necessarily winning and the filly can go well. Mick Channon saddles Fly Time, a daughter of Fraam, and his runners here should always be respected, although his current strike rate is only 7%. Kevin Ryan does well at his local track and Eliza May can prove hard to ignore. By Kyllachy, who has made a good start as a first season sire, she is out of a sprinting mare and should have plenty of pace. Ryan has a 19% strike rate at the moment and he had a two year-old winner at York on Thursday. Eliza May can ensure her stable's continued success.
