In the second division of the two-year-old contest we will side with Ivan Denisovich, with Asset, Busy Shark and Power Broker certainly being among those that should also be considered. A Danehill half-brother to the top-class USA runner War Chant, it is hard not to be taken by the credentials of Ivan Denisovich. With Aidan O'Brien already having saddled a juvenile winner in this country this week, this colt can go well in bidding to add to that tally. The 70,000 guineas purchase Asset makes plenty of appeal on breeding and is afforded plenty of respect, while Busy Shark cost 105,000 euros and must also be considered from Mick Channon's stable. Dingaan showed some promise on his Windsor debut, as did Irish Whispers at Newmarket. From the John Gosden yard, the nicely bred To Sender should be monitored in the betting, as should Road To Love, who cost connections 70,000 euros. Royal Millennium's half-brother Power Broker is another that catches the eye, and Richard Hannon's Montjeu colt Ned Ludd is sure to know what is required of him on his debut, although Asset could a stronger proposition from the stable. Johnny The Fish also has something to like about him but, for the winner, we return to Ivan Denisovich.
