Verdict

GRAND ART showed enough last time to make him a bet today; the list of dangers is headed by Harcas and Birkside. The selection ran a blinder to chase home Wee Charlie Castle at Beverley last month and he is very well handicapped at present. This longer trip should suit and with the ground also in his favour he can resume winning ways. Harcas beat Golden Jess at Redcar last time and he is another who has slipped to a very attractive mark. The visor seemed to have a positive effect last time and if it works the oracle again today then he could go well. Birkside won a claimer last time out over 1m4f and he has more on his plate today. The longer trip is also not likely to play to his strengths. Dramatic Solo has won over the course and distance and she ran with credit at Epsom last time but she has now gone up in the weights and she could be vulnerable. We will stick with Grand Art to land the prize.
