This looks a good opportunity for STATUTE BROOK to resume winning ways and he is given the vote over Agente Parmigiano, Elna Bright and Captain Jacksparra. Sylvester Kirk's colt is eased in grade after a disappointing run in a handicap at Sandown last time. He has got a good strike-rate on the all-weather and the return to this surface coupled with the drop in grade can see him get back to winning ways. Agente Parmigiano is another that is eased in grade but he has yet to be even placed on the all-weather and the percentage call would be to take him on. Elna Bright will not be inconvenienced by this longer trip and he arrives here in good form. It is hard to see him not making the frame, while Captain Jacksparra is also in good heart but the form of his second behind Red Current at Chepstow earlier in the month has since taken a bit of a knock. This is a wide open claimer and the vote goes the way of Statute Brook.
