Verdict
INVINCIBLE PRINCE is the tentative suggestion in the opener although the likes of Sir Parky and Sabii Sands have achieved more. Success came as something of a surprise for connections of Invincible Prince on debut which has to rate as a positive given that they'd expected their charge to need the run. He needs to improve on the bare form but the horse he beat had previously chased home Chachamaidee which suggests that it wasn't a bad effort. Sir Parky ran a fair race in a Newmarket nursery but looks vulnerable under a penalty and bigger challenges could come from Sabii Sands, Extreme Warrior and Navajo Chief who finished together in a similar race at the July meeting. David Lanigan's charge finished strongly having missed the start and should appreciate the longer trip but his tendency to miss the break is a concern. There should be more to come from Pallantes who beat a stablemate at Musselburgh whilst Practitioner didn't fare too badly in defeat behind the impressive Orpen Grey and could fare better with the extra furlong in his favour. An intriguing start to the day with Invincible Prince the call.
