Cosmopolitan, Full Of Love and Cumana Bay are all of interest but we'll take a chance with FLYING VALENTINO. The selection is a thoroughly exposed performer but she recorded back to back successes in June of last year and she won well enough at Windsor to believe that she may be able to defy a 5lb higher mark. It may not have been the strongest race but she's in form and fully effective under quick conditions and knows how to win. Club Tahiti has plenty to prove whilst it's hard to know what effect, if any, Cosmoplitan's defeat in the Falmouth Stakes (where she was outclassed) has had on her. Full Of Love has been given a short break since narrowly going down to a progressive handicapper at Pontefract where she was carried across the track. She's only 4lbs higher and has claims if picking up from where she left off. Cumana Bay didn't get away with the drop back to seven in a strong handicap at Newmarket but she can prove more competitive over this mile. She was a couple of places in front of Never Lose who looks well worth a try at this longer trip but she doesn't appear to have a great deal of scope from her current perch. Competitive fare but that should mean that we get a decent price about Flying Valentino.
