It is the least exposed of the runners, LADY LAUCHMHAR, that gets the vote ahead of fellow handicap debutante Heading East and the potentially well weighted Highkingofireland. Having looked progressive in two career starts the selection takes to the handicap ranks off a fair looking mark especially with a top apprentice taking a valuable three pounds off his back. The form from his last time out success has been franked nicely and his yard are in top form. Heading East disappointed as favourite last time out when taking to the polytrack for the first time. He should be seen to better effect now back on turf but the step up to this trip is not an obvious plus. Highkingofireland found a run over a two furlong longer trip too much of a stamina stretch last time and should go better this time off two pounds lighter while Musical Maze need to be considered now back to a rating just a pound lighter than his last winning mark. It¿s a pretty decent start to the card where Lady Lauchmhar should score.
