A poor finale, with SPOOF MASTER selected to get the better of One Oi and Tignello, but it's one of those contests where we wouldn't be surprised whatever were to win it. Conor Dore's gelding hasn't won for nearly a year, but given today's rivals that's not something to be unduly concerned about as none are in the hottest of form. Both his previous victories have come over five furlongs, but he's stepped up in trip now after three runs over six furlongs. He's previously found some trouble in running but if everything were to fall right for him, he should be involved, despite the draw. One Oi is less exposed than most, and should have further improvement to come. He's had a couple of near misses over a mile, but on both occasions he was still behind the leader rather than being nabbed late on. Tignello's best efforts came over seven furlongs at Kempton a few runs back, but looks open to further improvement given he's lightly raced to date too. It's not a contest we'd be looking upon as one to save the day, but tentatively we'll side with Spoof Master.
