Not much form to go on here, and as ever in this sort of race we can be guided by the market, but tentatively we'll side with RIO MIST ahead of Gwynedd and La Fortunata. Richard Hannon's debutante has an excellent draw, but could be absolutely anything. She changed hands for a second time last month, with connections paying 18,000 Guineas for her. She's well related, and any support in the market would further encourage us. Gwynedd, another who cost five figures, made an excellent debut at Redcar, finishing second to a Mark Johnston debutante in a similar contest, but the drop from six furlongs to the minimum trip looks to be a positive. She's poorly drawn though. La Fortunata has a couple of third places to her name from two runs to date, but also has a poor draw. She's shown a tendency to hang right, which won't help on a left handed course, but further improvement could see her land the spoils. With so many debutantes the market must be watched, but we'll side with one of them, and that's Rio Mist.
