Verdict
Sir Michael Stoute sends just one horse to Lingfield tonight, and that's KRIS KIN LINE, who looks more than capable of taking this to lose his maiden tag at the third time of asking, but Pyrus Time and Whatami are likely to have their supporters too. Kris Kin Line is being gradually stepped up in trip, and that looks a positive for him, after being placed over a mile and a quarter. He should certainly get the trip, and seems to have trained on well over the winter. Pyrus Time is the most experienced one, and only runner to have an official mark. Regularly placed, punters must be asking themselves if he really wants to win a race as he's becoming expensive to follow, but we know he handles the surface and gets the trip. Whatami finished behind Pyrus Time on her seasonal re-appearance having only raced once as a two year old, but this is a step up in trip for both. There may be more to come from Whatami though, who should come on for that first run of the year. It's not a great contest, but there has to be a winner, and the most likely in our opinion is Kris Kin Line.
