Cup of Love is selected to come out on top over Balletomaine, Desert Island Disc, Amwell Brave and Bienheureux in an open looking handicap. Cup of Love lines up in more form than most, having won two of her last four starts, at Brighton and Folkestone. This will be only her 10th career start, and as she learns to settle better, there should be more success in the offing for Rae Guest's filly. To be fair, she has not beaten much to date, but a mark of 59 is not harsh, and she can add to her tally. Balletomaine has been upped in trip without success since her win over 12 furlongs at Folkestone in July, so should appreciate the drop back in distance, while Desert Island Disc produced a career best effort when third over two miles at Newmarket last time and has form over this trip. Amwell Brave has a five-pound penalty for his course and distance success, and Bienheureux has not scored since last December but is on a fair mark at present. They appear to be the leading contenders, with Cup of Love preferred.
