        Verdict

        Fromsong can make the most of his draw to beat Fyodor, with Intriguing Glimps and Peopleton Brook having it to do from the outside. Fromsong gave a good account of himself during the summer, and showed that he had lost none of his enthusiasm when scoring on his Polytrack debut for Dean Ivory a fortnight ago. There should be more to come, and from stall four he can make them all go. Touched off by Golden Asha at Beverley in September, Fyodor has since made amends with victories at Redcar and Wolverhampton, and although creeping up the handicap, remains one to keep on the right side of, especially if they go a decent pace. However, stall eight gives him a bit of a task, likewise Peopleton Brook and Intriguing Glimpse on his immediate inside and outside. We are still waiting for Whitbarrow to recapture his form of old, and for the winner we return to Fromsong.
