Casemate can beat Peruvian Princess, with North Shore, Key of Solomon and Curtain Bluff others worth a second glance. Casemate has been galvanised by the fitting of blinkers, having won three of his last five starts, including twice here and at Wolverhampton last time. The first of those victories came over today's trip, so the return to a mile is not seen as a problem. He returns to class 4 company in good heart, and in receipt of weight all round, should go close. North Shore has been consistent of late, and will appreciate the step up in trip as well after his third at Salisbury. Key of Solomon will be all the better for his Kempton return, although that in itself was in April, and he does not make as much as appeal as the selection. Curtain Bluff ran really well at Newcastle last time, showing that he goes well on better ground, so is another for the list, but Casemate has plenty going for him and is the selection.
