Verdict
Campbeltown can defy topweight in the nursery, with Figaro Flyer, Lindus Atenor and Casablanca Minx seen as the main dangers. Eoghan O' Neill has sprung to prominence with his two-year-olds this term, most of which, if not all, are owned by John Fretwell, and those now familiar pale green silks will once again be well to the fore in the shape of Campbeltown. The son of Mull Of Kintyre was not winning out of turn when making all at Wolverhampton eight days ago, as he had chased home some useful sorts twice earlier in the campaign. It does pay to follow topweights in nurseries at this stage of the season, and he should make a bold bid to overcome his wide draw. Figaro Flyer jumped out and made all at Bath last time, but a closer look at that result reveals that he only beat two rivals, one of whom was his odds-on stablemate Musical Guest who not only lost a shoe but suffered a slipped saddle as well. Lindus Atenor is game and consistent and she will benefit from the drop back to six furlongs at this stage of her career. Like the selection, she was successful over six furlongs at Wolverhampton, but in a slightly slower time, but it can be pointed out that she also chased home one of the best northern juveniles, Titus Alone, at Musselburgh in May. Casablanca Minx beat a stablemate of the selection at Brighton but that was in claiming company, and she has much more to do now. Of the rest, Caan and Bella Bertolini are worth a mention, but we remain loyal to Campbeltown
