NOMOREBLONDES has our nomination in the opener with Thoughtsofstardom and The Tatling respected as dangers. Paul Midgeley's horses have come back into form and Nomoreblondes finally went in last time out after catching the eye in a couple of handicaps earlier in the season. Traditionally he has needed a few runs to get going and it would be no surprise to see a follow up. Thoughtsofstardom is probably more well known on the all-weather but has shaped up slightly better on the turf of late. It will be interesting to see how he gets on for a first ride under amateur handling. The Tatling still relishes racing at his advanced years. His rider knows him well and he is sure to run his race. Town House is sure to blaze the trail though is invariably vulnerable to a finisher. Magical Speedfit is extremely quirky and may have made more appeal at a much more esoteric track. Short Cut is exposed as modest though Ian Williams has gone to the trouble of booking one of the leading lady riders in the North. Timber Treasure continues his transistion from middle distance performer to sprinter while Methaaly would have solid claims if he was able to avoid some of the tardy starts that have accompanied his recent outings at the racecourse. Nomoreblondes has the most taking profile on this occasion.
