Secretary General, Silverhey and Chapter catch the eye here, and Secretary General is nominated to continue on the winning trail. A winner at Redcar in September, Silverhey was run out of it in the closing stages at Beverley last time. The stiff finish may have found him out, and he can go well on this easier track. Chapter is seven pounds better off for a three and three quarter length beating by Secretary General last time and he showed his liking for a fast surface at Windsor last year. he has lost his jockey twice in his last five starts however, and looks a tricky conveyance. Secretary General is in great form just now, and won with some authority on his latest start at Lingfield. He had won previously at Folkestone with a creditable run on softer ground in between. Secretary General is going well just now and cannot be opposed despite top weight.
