Verdict
Spoof Master is narrowly preferred to Fairfield Princess and Resignation. Bill Turner's representative ran as well as could be anticipated in a similar race last week but he was unlucky to come up against two useful types and can give a good account of himself here. Fairfield Princess is a consistent type and is 8lb better off for that Windsor meeting if one takes account of the riders claim. She was readily brushed aside on that occasion and could be worth opposing again. Resignation faced a tough assignment on debut at Newmarket. Slowly away on that occasion, the impression was given that there was more to come. King's Bastion has an entry in the Pheonix Stakes at Leopardstown. Cheaply bought Proper won at Goodwood over six furlongs and while winning form is always respected, the formbook suggests that there is more to do here. Spoof Master has held his form well and can be anticipated to give a good account from a favourable draw.
