Silent Oasis was a real let-down when seen a couple of months ago and cannot be put forward with any confidence; instead then we turn to the proven winner HEL'S ANGEL. The step back up in trip will suit Ann Duffield's filly as she seemed to find things happening too quickly last time out at Newcastle. She still looks to be fairly-treated on a mark of 73 and with quick ground no problem she should run a big race. Harriet's Girl is a player as she drops in class, Vain Boteli is hard to weigh-up on his first start on these shores so watch the market there, whilst Burza shaped much better in defeat last time out and the filly may be coming back to herself. Improvement is expected from Saa'ida now that blinkers are tried; she is dropping down the weights like a stone and Chris Catlin may suit her this afternoon. Jazacosta's course win came over shorter, a comment that also applies to Diapason, so a bigger threat may be Petas Pleasure now that Ollie Pears' gelding encounters a quick surface again. Handicap debutant Stellar Cause has run two good races either side of a poor Windsor effort. It would have to be a worry that his flop came on quick ground, and his mark of 68 looks a tad high, however if he is supported in the betting then it may pay to take note. A very competitive finale where the vote is given to the gutsy filly Hel's Angel.
