Arguably one of the worst maidens ever seen at the track. With Moonbeam Dancer's rating of 70 looking a tad flattering, it is the once-raced TANFIDH who can lead this modest lot home. Marcus Tregoning knows the family of Tanfidh well and this well-bred filly will not have been rushed to the track. Having said that however, she looked fairly clueless when running at Ripon on debut where the undulations probably didn't help. The step up in trip looks likely to suit this daughter of Marju and her trainer has a good record at the track and his horses in good form at present. The obvious danger is Moonbeam Dancer. David Simcock's filly was a decent second to Inhibition at Kempton in April but was a disappointing fourth to Brief Look at the same track in August. She has shown ability but doesn't look one to trust implicitly after that last effort. Katya Kabanova looks likely to improve for handicaps after this run, Amroth is bred to show improved form now up in distance, whilst Just Call Me Dave and Bluegrass Lion give trainer Paul Green a fair chance of getting some minor prize money. Isntshelovely is not the worst hurdler in the world but the mare is hard to fancy here now tried on the flat, and so it is Tanfidh who gets the vote almost by default.
