Nina Rose, Sounds Of Thunder, GREEN EARTH and Blue Avon may be the four to concentrate on here and we will tentatively side with the Amanda Perrett-trained Green Earth. The selection was an eye-catcher last time out when running on well to fill third spot behind Kona Coast. Although the first two were a little clear, the run suggested that this son of Cape Cross is learning with each start and he may be well-treated with a mark of 68. Sounds Of Thunder's best run came at Warwick last time; that seemed to be out of the blue and his starting price of 40/1 backs that up. Nina Rose may find this race slightly easier than the race she contested at Salisbury last time out, Ragsta at least knows how to win, albeit in selling company, whilst Keen Bidder is a consistent colt who lost little in defeat at Epsom last time but may not be that well-treated following a Newmarket win in July. Pepi Royal's dam won over a mile so the step up in trip may suit, Baby Judge and Gulf Punch have been exposed as modest, whilst it is unlikely that we have seen the best of the well-related Black Daddy after just three modest runs, albeit in stronger company. Not an easy betting medium, however we are happy to stick with Green Earth.
