Amarna gets the vote over Nassau Style, Minnis Bay and Cinematic in the finale. Amarna has more scope than most, having had just the two career outings so far, and indeed the Godolphin inmate has already produced the goods, having been successful over the course-and-distance on only his second racecourse start. This full-brother to Librettist is not highly tried on his handicap bow, and should follow up before going on to better things. Nassau Style hails from an in-form yard, but his sole victory was gained on heavy going at Warwick, while Minnis Bay was able to dictate a moderate pace at Bath last time, and might not get things his own way here. Cinematic has gone off the boil of late, and although Walter Swinburn sponsors this race, it is hard to get enthusiastic about his runner, Pivotalia. All in all, Amarna makes most appeal.
