In depth

Verdict

Craigstown gets the confident vote in the opener with Inspector Clouseau and Tarbolton rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair fifth in what looked a better race behind Latin Lad last time out. He looks sure to have improve for the experience and given nominal improvement he looks the one to be on. Inspector Clouseau rates the main danger as he was a fair fifth on his debut behind Donegal. He is another that is sure to improve but that effort came on a much softer surface and he looks opposable on this faster ground. Tarbolton is another that ran with promise on his debut and he has definite place claims but he is bred to be suited by a longer trip in time. Of the remainder Alexander Castle is a colt by Lemon Drop Kid and hails from a yard that can ready a debutante so should be watched in the market but Craigstown is taken to win this before going on to better things.
