Jord is selected here ahead of Hucking Hill and Swing On A Star. Impromptu comes here in good heart but has to show that he can keep it coming on the all-weather. Jord returns to the all-weather on a winning mark and has to be granted all due respect. Course and distance winner Hucking Hill is only marginally above a winning rating, while New York Oscar needs to build on recent efforts. Nouveau has it to prove from his current mark following his Newbury defeat, while Minaash just has it to prove at present. First-time blinkers are going to have to improve the Sir Michael Stoute-trained Tahdeed, while Minnow has been disappointing so far this season. Lay The Cash is now just two pounds above a winning course and distance mark, although that success - which has not really been built on - came in first-time blinkers. Finally, if the form of her third to Jimmy Styles at Windsor last time - an improved effort from her - can be taken literally, then Swing On A Star would have to be given good claims, but Bentley seems to have lost his form of late. All of which returns us to the selection, which is Jord.
