John Gosden's Fleurissimo has clearly had her problems with the four-year-old only having had the three career starts and she has not been seen since finishing a close third in a Newbury maiden in April last year but has to be considered on her debut in this grade off a mark of 76 as does Jeremy Gask's Denton, who is better than he showed on his reappearance at Haydock last month but it is SAGREDO that they all have to beat. Jonjo O'Neill's gelding stepped up from his reappearance run when successful at Chepstow in good fashion last month and still looks well treated on his old form off just a 5lb higher mark so may be worth backing to follow up that Chepstow win. Andrew Balding's Dromore needs to improve on recent form to take hand in the finish here but does come from a yard in form as does Peter Hiatt's Eseej but he has been very disappointing of late. Ralph Beckett's Penangdouble O One is potentially interesting off a low mark on his handicap debut but has not shown particularly good form so far, while Pat Eddery's Resentful Angel seems a shade high in the weights at present. Henry Candy's Wiggy Smith may struggle to give weight away all round and a better bet looks to be Sagredo, who can win again.
