Hamdan Al Maktoum has two runners in this maiden with Ed Dunlop's Sadafiya and Brian Meehan's Talkhees both making their racecourse debuts but lack of a previous run is a concern for the pair and preference is for OVERWHELM. Andrew Reid's filly was outclassed in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot last month but earlier form when Fourth to Masay at Windsor on her debut is solid and the daughter of Bahamian Bounty looks worth siding with in this event. Mathew Salaman's Arakova, was well held on her Lingfield debut and looks best watched, while Dallas Legend has only beaten two runners home in her two starts combined. Robert Cowell's Jameela Girl showed some promise on her Lingfield debut, while the Dominic Ffrench Davis-trained Mystica stepped up from her first outing when a creditable fourth at Goodwood recently and she has claims. Hamdan Al Maktoum's two contenders are of interest but Overwhelm has shown a decent level of form and she looks the one to beat.
