Amanda Perrett has her string in good form so Saborido has to be considered for this two mile handicap but he needs to improve on previous form shown this term to trouble ULTIMATE QUEST, who gets the vote ahead of Coda Agency. David Arbuthnot's gelding has plenty to find with the selection on running over course and distance last month but he is better than he showed that day so has to be respected. Willie Musson's Broughtons Point has been running consistently well over similar trips of late and he should be thereabouts again but may need some help from the handicapper. Sheila's Castle has run well in both starts this term and has to be considered stepping up in trip having run promisingly in a couple of bumpers, while Alan King's Perception needs to improve on recent form on the flat and over hurdles to take a hand at the finish. Ian Wood's William's Way is capable but inconsistent and a better bet looks to be Ultimate Quest from the in-form Sir Mark Prescott stable, who has been running well over similar trips in recent starts and has been given a chance by the handicapper having been dropped 2lbs since finishing a close third behind Graylyn Ruby over course and distance last month.
