Galeota is marginally preferred to Judd Street and Matsunosuke in a tough one to call. A host of the others will no doubt be snapping at their heels; including: Rowe Park, who has a Group 3 penalty, would also have to come into the reckoning on the pick of his form but he faces a stiff test on these terms. Green Manalishi is expected to be sharper now that he has a run under his belt, while Group Therapy is open to any amount of improvement and, as the race was won by a three-year-old last year, he cannot be ruled out. Matsunosuke has struggled to find his form this season and it will take a leap of faith to side with him today. However, the gelding gets on really well with Kerrin McEvoy, so big run could easily be on the cards from their advantageous high draw. Judd Street has also been around the mill of late and, as he is weighted out of handicaps these days, his connections may be in for a frustrating campaign. Still the six-year-old is an honest type and should again run his race. However, there were definite signs of encouragement from Galeota last time out and this versatile gelding is fancied to relish the test today.
