In depth

Verdict

Red Rossini has the most interesting entries and has been found a reasonable starting point for his career. Norfolk Broads and Kitty Allen are other interesting newcomers, while Klynch has started to make progress but needs to find another gear to keep this lot at bay. Kitty Allen is by sire of the moment, One Cool Cat, and will boost her paddocks value no end if she gets a win under her belt. Marco Botti¿s two-year-olds have returned a 10% return from his short training career to date; so she is worth bearing in mind if the market vibes are positive. Norfolk Broads is a stoutly bred type that will no doubt get better with age. Her trainer has always been noted for the patient approach with youngsters and this daughter of Noverre is definitely one for the future. However, Red Rossini - a son of former classy sprinter Rossini - has more ticks in the right boxes for the present time and, as his yard is flying with their juveniles, the Richard Hannon-trained colt gets the nod on this occasion.
