Verdict

Changing Lanes, Ted Moss and Supreme Team make up our short-list with the first named preferred. Not too many come into the race in form or with progressive profiles but that is not true of the selection who posted an improved performance on his handicap bow at Newton Abbot. He is 4lbs higher but this drop in trip may help, he's unexposed and this race certainly doesn't look any stronger. Ted Moss is another dropping in trip and he's likely to have plenty of use made of him as he doesn't appear to be short of stamina. The booking of McCoy for Supreme Team takes the eye and Ben Case's gelding appears to be running into some sort of form but will need to take another significant step forwards if he's to open his account. Mandalay Lady was in the process of running an improved race last time whilst Hatton Rock may well fare better now handicapping in cheekpieces. The market will be worth monitoring as usual but Changing Lanes' recent run puts him in the driving seat.
