Peter Island was good value for his course and distance success here last month and may be able to defy a 6lb rise so gets the vote to follow up at the main expense of Rezzago and Little Edward. The last mentioned disappointed at Sandown last time having won well at the same course the time before, on each occasion over the minimum trip, but is equally effective over this trip so cannot be discounted. Cyclical showed signs of a return to form at York last time but he could probably do with some more help from the handicapper, while Jayanjay ran better at Epsom last time but may also be a shade high in the weights. Rezzago looks the pick of Walter Swinburn's two runners in the race but Peter Island is the form choice and he gets the vote.
