Temple Of Thebes is progressive and gets the nod here over Marvellous Value and Shifting Star. The selection has won her last two starts and is certainly progressive; she won on her turf debut at Newmarket and must be considered to be a threat to the handicapper despite an 8lb rise in the weights. Honey Monster has been in fine form at a lower level on the all-weather, whilst Muhajaar is unexposed but this is a tough introduction to handicaps. Dunn'o put up a bold show behind Lodi recently, whilst Great Charm must not be ruled out despite suffering a reversal of fortunes recently at Ripon. Shifting Star's recent Goodwood win looks solid; he very rarely runs a bad race and so he should not be far away. Solar Spirit and Marvellous Value have claims, with the latter running a fine third at York last time on only his third start. An open contest, with Temple Of Thebes the nomination.
