    In depth

    Verdict

William Knight's EVENTIDE is selected to come out on top in this competitive looking opener, ahead of It's Moon and Sphere. A big price winner in her only previous run over a mile and a half, it's a long way to bring his only runner of the day to see if she can translate an all weather victory to one on the turf. She's well in at the weights, and may and try to come from off the pace again. It's Moon could be one to try and make all; she's dropped back in trip after finishing just outside the frame here in May over a mile and 6, while Sphere from James Fanshawe's yard makes her handicap debut after a decent outing recently at Lingfield. But to land the spoils in the opener, we'll go with Eventide.
