Vintage Steps can win this event ahead of Caranbola and Common Diva. But look out for any market support for any of the four newcomers. The selection has a good draw in stall 10, and won on her only other outing at Beverley over 6 furlongs. Expect her to try and come from just off the pace. Caranbola was beaten by a neck in a recent listed race at Beverley, and hasn't been out of the first two in any of her four runs. If she can overcome her poor draw, the downgrade could see her heading for the winners' enclosure. Common Diva broke her maiden by making all at Pontefract recently. Alan McCabe's filly looks the improving sort, but for our selection we'll go with Vintage Steps.
