Another competitive looking handicap, with Kashimin getting the nod ahead of Prime Factor and John Keats. The selection, with the highest official rating, is drawn well, but although disappointing in a couple of handicaps this year, showed enough in his maiden win first time out to suggest more wins can come his way. Prime Factor's been knocking on the door recently, but not been able to follow up his win in February over this distance in February. He needs to overcome being drawn in stall 3. John Keats has won two of his last three starts and carries a 6 pound penalty for success on Saturday at Doncaster, but could defy that to be first past the post again. But our selection is Kashimin.
