Verdict
Tanto Faz gets the tentative nod here, ahead of French Art and Hippolytus. There's not much form to go on, so any market support on the day could be significant, but Willie Haggas' runner was a decent second on debut in a better race at York recently. A son of Rock of Gibraltar, it won't take much, if indeed any, improvement to land this contest. French Art was in contention last time out at Yarmouth before finishing third; again racecourse experience could help him, while Hippolytus, a beaten favourite last time out at Beverley could reward John Quinn with his only runner of the afternoon. But the one with most appeal, if still fairly limited, is Tanto Faz.
