In depth

Verdict

This race has cut up badly from the initial entry stage and has granted Constant Cheers an excellent opening. The selection is partnered by the apprentice find of the season, David Probert, who was aboard last time when the gelding ran out a two and a half length winner from an in-form rival at Warwick. He has been raised by 7lbs for that win but he won with a bit to spare and should be able to follow up. Rising Force ran a decent race over hurdles last time and is slipping back to a decent mark, he merits consideration. Garafena and Daring Racer ran better races last time and the former will appreciate this longer trip whilst the latter is entitled to come on for the outing. It's No Problem won a claimer in good style last time but she'll find this tougher and Constant Cheers is readily preferred.
