Verdict
Atlantic Sport is the suggestion here although a market check is advised given that it's his first run for some time. The selection won an Ascot maiden that was the talk of the town on debut; the form took a few knocks subsequently but third placed Aqlaam has gone on to show that not all the talk was hot air. Mick Channon held his colt in high regard and an entry in the Sussex stakes would suggest that he still does; he could be exciting. Raptor looks up against it at the weights and Eisteddfod makes no great appeal unless the ground softens dramatically. Vortex hasn't been at his best of late, Al Muheer has a bit to prove whilst it remains to be seen how Rubacuori fares on his first run since leaving Brazil. Vitznau is capable of winning this but looks vulnerable as does Red Alert Day who is, nonetheless, a worthy adversary. They lack the scope of the selection though and Atlantic Sport may just be a class apart.
