Alan Berry's Wicked Wilma is 2lbs better in for a length with Richard Whitaker's Mey Blossom on running when placed third and second respectively behind Lucky Numbers at Catterick 10 days ago and there should not be much between the pair again but both may have to settle for minor honours once more in a race taken to go to BRIERTY. Declan Carroll's gelding ran better than expected over six furlongs at York behind La Zamora last week when a close up fifth despite finding trouble in running and he looks worth backing to resume winning ways back over the minimum trip, especially having been dropped 1lb since that latest effort. Jim Goldie's Eternal Instinct was well held on her reappearance back in May and has not been seen since then so looks best watched while James Given's Feelin Foxy gave little sign for encouragement at Goodwood on Thursday. The six-year-old Gap Princess has been the model of consistency this term but she has paid the penalty at the hands of the handicapper for her wins at Catterick and of more interest may be Bryan Smart's Sirenuse, who ran well when a close fourth behind Five Star Junior at Ayr when last seen in May but she is strictly held by Brierty on running at Thirsk earlier that month and Declan Carroll's gelding can come out on top again.
