HIGHLAND WARRIOR can gain compensation for supporters in this sprint handicap, with Ryan Style and Ingleby Star others considered. The selection was an impressive Musselburgh scorer last month on good to soft, and only just failed to back that up at the Yorkshire track on going described as it is tonight. A 3lb rise makes it a bit tougher, but on balance this does not look to be as competitive and we will not desert him. Ryan Style went well on his handicap debut at Thirsk over this trip and with that experience a positive he could go very close today. Ingleby Star keeps hitting the post and the crossbar, but has his optimum trip and ground here. However, he has had a few chances from today's mark of 71 and looks likely to find one or two too good. Mandarin Spirit is on a competitive pitch and goes well here, while Bo McGinty is on a good mark but is very expensive to follow, and we'll take both on with the veteran Highland Warrior.
