    Verdict

There are significant doubts about a few of these, so a chance is taken that Dubai Success can bounce back to form; possibly with the most to fear from The Whistling Teal and Mamool, who are classy individuals but have long absences to overcome. Mamool does have a Group 3 penalty to carry, though. Which obviously makes life hard for him. The form of Godolphin's runners is also a concern and he might just need this to put him on the right track. The Whistling Teal is a tough character that should handle the ground. He has also gone well when fresh in the past and it will be dangerous to rule him out completely. However, he has a little to find with the selection on the form of last season's John Porter Stakes at Newbury and needs to pull something out of the fire today. Therefore, we take our chances with Dubai Success, who is back over his most appropriate trip and, with the ground not expected to be a problem for him, he edges the vote in a tricky race to assess.
