Dancing Edge, First Byte and Glendening are the three for the shortlist here and the vote is given to First Byte. The selection has been a little disappointing on her last two outings but this is a weak race and on the pick of her efforts she looks to have a solid chance. She wasn't beaten all that far over this trip last time and with conditions to suit she is given the narrow vote. Dancing Edge won well at Ripon but was then disappointing last time and he basically looks exposed, so he is difficult to put forward with any confidence. Glendening has shown some promise but he ran a stinker last time and he does not look to be the most straightforward. He might be capable of claiming a place but we are happy to take him on today. Roman History is the other to consider as he is lightly-raced and he ran with promise behind Glendening last time. The booking of Robert Winston is a positive and he is worth noting in the market. However, for the winner we will stick with First Byte.
