Strathtay is fancied to make amends for his final fight bloomer last time and he gets the nod over Golden Feather, who was a fair performer on the Flat for John Gosden, while Tiffin Brown hails from a yard that does well with their juvenile hurdlers and he is one to keep a close eye on in the betting. The rest with experience over timber already have something to prove and are not hard to overlook on this occasion. Tiffin Brown did win on the level at Beverley just 11 days ago and will obviously be fit enough to run his race. The booking of Tony McCoy is a great plus for him and he could easily go close with a clear round. Golden Feather has not been with his new yard for very long and this will be a fact finding mission with him. However, he can be placed to good effect once Richard Guest has a gauge of his ability in this sphere and he is looks a fair prospect for the remainder of the summer jumps campaign. However, Strathtay was very unlucky not to get off the mark when he fell at the final flight at Stratford and Timmy Murphy is expected to make sure there are no similar mishaps with him this time.
